“I love using palette knife to produce paintings where I use the paint straight from the tube like squeezing toothpaste, lots coming out, the thicker the better usually dries solid in about 3-4 days. Heavy bodied acrylic is best to get the thickness and textural qualities. The vibrant knife stokes are exciting and original. I also use oils to paint this way but the difference to acrylic is the drying time, oils take much longer. ”
